Background and purpose
In 2019, Tencent and StarLadder (the “Tournament Organizer”) have launched a series of the PUBG Mobile worldwide tournaments. And OPPO R.T.K. Series will be the one for Russia, Turkey and Kazakhstan. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the format of the PUBG Mobile OPPO R.T.K. Series, as there are only twelve teams, who will be able to reach the final part and compete for an impressive prize pool.These Tournament Rules of PUBG MOBILE OPPO R.T.K. The Series (hereinafter referred to as the “Tournament Rules”) establish the general rules applicable to the PUBG MOBILE game during all the matches of OPPO R.T.K. Series. They include the rules governing the admission of players, the structure of the tournament, the structure of points, prize awards and the behavior of players. These Tournament Rules apply to each team (the “Team”), which is registered to participate in the OPPO R.T.K. Series in accordance with the procedures and rules for registering for e-sports tournaments (hereinafter referred to as the “Registration Rules”), and to all players, managers, coaches and other team members (hereinafter “Team Members”). Each Team Member is required to read, understand, accept and comply with these Tournament Rules and Registration Rules, otherwise you will not be allowed to participate in OPPO R.T.K. Series.
1. Consent to comply with the Tournament Rules
Each Team Member must accept these Tournament Rules in order to participate in the OPPO R.T.K. Series. A Team Member may accept these Tournament Rules by registering for OPPO R.T.K. Series in accordance with the Registration Rules.
1.2. Changes to the Tournament Rules
The esports sector is rapidly changing, as are the games in which esports tournaments are held, and these Tournament Rules are to be updated and supplemented periodically to reflect the development of this area, changes to the commercial model of eSports and PUBG MOBILE game updates. Therefore, the tournament organizer may periodically update, amend or supplement these Tournament Rules, and may also interpret and apply these Tournament Rules by issuing online publications, instructional videos, emails or texts that provide instructions and guidance for Team Members. Any significant changes to these Tournament Rules will be announced on the official tournament website. The team captain is responsible for providing the Team Members with this information and other correspondence related to these Tournament Rules. Participation in the OPPO R.T.K. Series means acceptance of all changes to the rules, instructions and manuals.
1.3. Strict compliance with the rules of the tournament
The Tournament Organizer will be responsible, among other things, for providing staff, judges and administrators for each Tournament (hereinafter “OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials”) and for ensuring compliance with these Registration Rules and Tournament Rules.
2.1. Admission to participation
2.1.1. Age of players.
To participate in the Tournament, a player must reach the age of majority in his country of residence prior to the start of the Tournament, and must also comply with any applicable age restrictions set for the game PUBG MOBILE by the application store from which the player downloaded the game. If a player has not reached that age, but he turned 16 years old on the date of the start of the Tournament (that is, the player has lived at least 16 calendar years), the player can take part in the Tournament if he meets other requirements for participants of the Tournament established in these Tournament Rules and Registration Rules, and the parent or legal guardian of the player has read and accepted these Registration Rules and Competition Rules on behalf of the player and has agreed to participate in the Tournament, as evidenced by the parent’s consent form provided to the Tournament Organizer.
2.1.2 Requirement of nationality of teams
OPPO R.T.K. Series ends with an international final, during which Teams from different geographic regions will compete for the champion title. The best teams from each Region and four teams with a special invitation will compete in the international final. To maintain the national identity of the teams participating in the international competition, which is an important aspect for fans and sponsors, during the entire OPPO R.T.K. Series, the lineup of each Team should consist only of citizens of one country representing their Region.
2.2. Players' names
The player's tag or his gaming pseudonym (hereinafter “the player's tag”) must consist of the name of the team (or abbreviation or other word representing the name of the team) and the name of the player in the format “NAMEOFTEAMNAMEOFPLAYER”. For example, if the player's name is “Lucky” and he is from the “All Stars” team, his player's tag will be “ASLucky”. The player's tag is selected during registration and is not subject to change at any time during the OPPO R.T.K. Series without the prior written permission of the officials of OPPO R.T.K Series. A player's tag should not contain any words or phrases in any language that are offensive, threatening or abusive. A player's tag must not include the corporate name in whole or in part and use trademarks or other intellectual property of the Tournament Organizer, Tencent company, PUBG
MOBILE or any third party without the prior written permission of the Tournament Organizer. To obtain such permission, the player has to submit to the Tournament Organizer a license agreement, sponsorship agreement or any other documentary evidence of the player having a license for the intellectual property, sufficiently convincing for the Tournament Organizer. Despite the permission of the Tournament Organizer, all risks and liabilities for the right to use a corporate name or intellectual property, in whole or in part in the player’s name or tag, are borne by the player. The officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series reserve the right to reject any player tag selected by the player and require the player to choose another player tag that complies with this Competition Rules.
All players must comply with the Registration Rules in order to gain admission to the Tournament. All players must register (as a group with teammates) to participate in the OPPO R.T.K. Series on the website [pubgmobile.starladder.com]. The teams that won't be registered on the website [pubgmobile.starladder.com] will not be allowed to participate in the OPPO R.T.K tournament. Series. Player in OPPO R.T.K. Series must compete in one team only. Registration for OPPO R.T.K. Series is held from 20:00 (GMT+3) of May, 14th to 00:00 (GMT+3) of May, 19th, 2019
2.4. Tournament related events
The Tournament Organizer and Tencent company have the right to require the cooperation of players by participating in various media interviews, press conferences, reports, sponsorship events, photo and video sessions, charity events, web castes, podcasts, chat rooms and other media events organized by Tencent or the Tournament Organizer due to the marketing and promotional activities of OPPO RTK Series and/or PUBG MOBILE (hereinafter referred to as “Media covered events”), provided that these events covered by the media do not prevent the player from preparing for the game and to participate in it. The Tournament Organizer has the right to impose sanctions on a player or a team, or to disqualify a player or a team in case of refusing to attend the Media covered event and to participate in it due course.
3.1. Team's lineup requirements
3.1.1. The Key and Standby players. Each team during the entire OPPO R.T.K. Series tournament must consist of four players from the starting lineup of the Team (the “Key Players”). The team has the ability to add one additional player as a reserve one (hereinafter referred to as the “Standby Player”). The officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series have the right to disqualify any team with an incomplete lineup. Teams are urged to register with five players, which is the maximum number of players allowed.
3.1.2. Minimum lineup Requirement. All Key Players and any Standby Players replacing Key Players must meet the criteria for admission to all Tournaments. Teams are required throughout the entire OPPO R.T.K. Series to maintain the minimum lineup (4 players). If at any time the lineup of the team becomes less than the Minimum one, the team will be disqualified, or other sanctions may be applied to it, if only the officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series, at their sole discretion, will not issue a permit to the Team to reduce the number of players up to below the Minimum lineup.
3.1.3. Team captain. Each Team must designate one participant as the captain within the online registration process (hereinafter referred to as the “Team Captain”). The Team Captain will carry out all communication with OPPO R.T.K. Series officials. The officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series can consider the information received from the Team Captain as the one, received from all team members. The Team captain must be a member of the Team.
3.2. Submission of the Lineup List
3.2.1 Team Registration.
Before the start of OPPO R.T.K. Series, each team must register its roster (including Key and Standby Players) through online tools provided by OPPO R.T.K. Series. After processing the registration team is not allowed to make any changes to the composition of the team.
3.2.2. Players' replacement and other changes in the lineup. A Standby Player can replace the Key Player only in between the games during the Tournament.
3.3. Team names and logos
The team name will be selected during registration and is not allowed to be changed at any time during OPPO R.T.K. Series without the prior permission of the OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials. The names of all teams must be different and unique. The name and logo of the team should not include any words or phrases in any language that are offensive, threatening or abusive. Team names and logos must not include, in whole or in part, the corporate name or use of trademarks and other intellectual property of the Tournament Organizer, Tencent company, PUBG MOBILE or any third party without the prior written permission of the Tournament Organizer. To obtain such permission, the Team must provide the Tournament Organizer with a license agreement, sponsorship agreement or any other documentary evidence that the Team has a license for this intellectual property. Despite any permission that might have been issued by the Tournament Organizer, the Team assumes all risks and liabilities for obtaining the right to use, in whole or in part, the corporate name or intellectual property of a third party. The officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series have the right to reject the name or logo of the team and recommend a different name and logo, conforming to this Tournament Rules.
3.4. Possession of several teams
In order to ensure fair competition, OPPO R.T.K. Series will apply the rules set forth below to any individuals or groups of individuals who own a Team, manage a Team, control a Team or have interests in a Team. An individual or a group of persons is not entitled to, directly or indirectly, own or manage several Teams in one Region (the maximum number of Teams allowed in all Regions: 3). An individual or a group of persons is not entitled to, directly or indirectly, participate in the financing, management, marketing or administration of several Teams in one Region (the maximum number of Teams in all Regions: 3). No two teams are allowed to perform under the same team name; Teams that use the same brand should use its different variants of spelling in their names. No two individuals or two groups of persons, directly or indirectly owning a Team, managing a Team, controlling a Team or having interests in any Team, have the right to participate in business or financial relations with common interests that may directly or indirectly benefit both parties in connection with OPPO R.T.K. Series. Any exceptions to these rules are allowed only with the prior written permission of the Tournament Organizer.
4. Structure and schedule
4.1. The tournament format.
All stages will be held online.
In total, the open qualifiers in each region, may be attended by 512 teams, which will be divided into 32 groups of 16 teams and will play in the single elimination BO1 format. According to the results of the last round, consisting of 4 groups; 6 teams from each group, a total of the best 24 teams, will pass to closed qualifiers.
In closed qualifiers in all regions, the teams will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams and will play a total of 9 matches against each other (3 matches of each group against each). Thus, each team will compete in 6 tournament games. The top-14 teams, selected on the basis of the total score in the closed qualifiers, will go to the regional final.
The final of each region will be attended by 14 teams from the closed qualifier and 2 invited teams. In 2 days, 4 matches will be played and the best 4 teams of the region will be determined - the lucky ones who will stand for the region in the International final of the tournament.
In the international final 4 teams from each region and 4 invited teams, a total of 16 teams, will play in the format ***
4.1.1. Key Dates
Registration: from 20:00 (GMT+3) of the May, 14th to 00:00 (GMT+3) of the May, 19th, 2019
Key dates of the qualifiers will be published separately on the website [pubgmobile.starladder.com].
4.1.2. Prize fund
The total prize fund is $50,000
1st place - $20,000
2nd place - $10,000
3-4th places - $5,000
5-8th places - $2,500.
2. Score Management System
4.2.1. Score management
In each Tournament game the score will be based on the final number of kills and the placement in the tournament table, as stated below.

** Note. The score management system may be periodically updated by the Tournament Organizer at its own discretion. Team members should regularly check for the latest updates in this section.
Draws between two teams during any stage of OPPO R.T.K. Series will be determined in the following order:
(a) by the total number of kills in all Tournament games;
(b) by the maximum total points in the Tournament game;
(c) by the maximum total number of kills in the Tournament game;
(d) by the total number of kills in the last Tournament game played;
(e) by the place in the last Tournament game played.
4.2.3. Prizes Prizes may be awarded to the winning team or to individual players during or after the tournament. Any player who wins a prize in the Tournament will not officially be considered a winner in case if the following criteria won't be met:
(a) the player must receive a prize in accordance with applicable law;
(b) the player must have (or his parent or guardian must have) official confirmation of admission to participate, an exemption from liability, and/or any other document requested by the Tournament Organizer. Refusal to sign and submit all documents required for receiving of the prize to OPPO R.T.K. Series officials may result in a cancellation and a loss of prize. Failure to receive any prize within the allowable time after the end of the Tournament may result in a cancellation and a loss of the prize.
5. Settings and game process
5.1. Basic settings before the game
5.1.1. Version of the game. The version of the PUBG MOBILE used for Tournament games will be determined by the Tournament Organizer.
5.1.2. Players accounts. Players will use their own accounts and online player's tags.
5.1.3. Lobby games. Tournament games will be held in the lobby provided by the Tournament Organizer. Before the start of the Tournament, the Team Captains will be informed of the official tournament accounts that will be used to host the official lobby of the Tournament.
5.1.4. The timeliness of the game start.
It is assumed that all Tournament games will start at the scheduled time. Any delays caused by the inappropriate actions of a team member will be considered by OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials. Late charges are imposed at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer.
5.2. Game settings and rules
5.2.1. General setting and game setting
Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi
Game mode: TPP
Team size: 4 players
Lineup size: 5 players (4 Key Players and 1 Standby)
The number of teams participating in the Tournament game: 16
The Tournament Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the necessary settings of the game or player at any time in its sole discretion before the start of any Tournament game.
5.2.2. Device Settings.
On Mobile devices, you must use the settings specified by the Tournament Organizer before the start of the Tournament. During the Tournament game, players must not make any changes to the FPS settings without the permission of the Officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series.
Each player must make sure that he downloaded all the maps on his mobile device. Players who have not downloaded the maps are automatically kicked at the beginning of the match and the game will start without their participation.
5.2.3. Game termination
(A) Pauses. During the Tournament game, the pauses are prohibited, whatever their reason is.
(B) Technical and emergency situations. At the request of the Tournament Organizer, players are required to re-run the Tournament game. The Tournament Organizer can re-play the tournament game in the cases listed below.
a) In case of flooding, fire, military actions, terrorist attacks, power outages and other force-majeure circumstances.
b) In case of technical malfunctions or the player’s disconnection (except malfunctions or outages resulting from a player’s mistakes or negligence) within 90 seconds after a player lands on the battlefield.
c) In the event of a problem while displaying the bootscreen and the inability to download the game.
d) If it is impossible for a player to move on the battlefield during90 seconds after landing of this player on the battlefield.
e) In case the player didn't enter the Tournament game before the original plane took off.
e) In case any players will be able to join the Tournament game, not flying on the original plane and not parachuting, that is, immediately spawning on the battlefield.
(B) Decisions in cases of emergency. Despite all of the above, in an emergency, for example, when a network or equipment fails (including displaying network mode in yellow or a smartphone malfunction) or a critical error affecting one or more players, the Tournament Organizer, based on the facts and circumstances at that time, decide how to proceed. In some cases, the Tournament must be continued, even if one or several players are faced with an emergency or critical errors that in other circumstances could cause the Tournament game to be repeated, even if such players are not guilty in any way in the emergency situation.
When deciding whether to continue the Tournament or re-run the Tournament game, OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials will be guided by their reasonable judgment and may take into account (among other factors) the progress of the game, as well as the timeliness of the player's reporting on the problem. Players who submit false or misleading information will be disqualified for cheating. If a player cannot participate in a tournament game for any reason (even if the inability to participate is not related to the player’s fault or violation) and OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials will decide not to re-play the Tournament game, the competition will continue as usual, and the affected Team will continue to play without the player who has left.
If a player who is disabled or is facing another emergency or a critical error can return to the game in progress, he will be allowed to do so.
5.2.4. Broadcast. Players can broadcast their games during Online competitions with a delay of at least 5 minutes.
5.3. Procedures after the game
5.3.1. Results. The Officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series will confirm and log all results of the Tournament game and the points distribution.
5.3.2. Technical notes. After each tournament day, the Players will identify any technical problems along with OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials.
5.3.3. Break time. In cases where breaks are required between games or the Tournament Organizer considers them desirable, the Officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series will inform the Team Captains on the time of such a break, and the next Tournament game will begin immediately after the break.
6. Supported devices
Players can participate in the tournament only on smartphones. Players are not allowed to play on tablets, personal computers (PCs), consoles, laptops, or any other device that is not a smartphone. Players are not allowed to use the emulator to play on a PC or other device that is not a smartphone. Players competing in Online contests must use only Android or iOS smartphones.
7.1. Prohibited Sponsors
The development of links between teams and players with sponsors is encouraged. However, to comply with the ethical principles of OPPO R.T.K. Series and maintaining the reputation of PUBG MOBILE and Tencent company, StarLadder, neither the team nor any of its players should be involved in any sponsorship, support, advertising or related contract of any kind with any persons or organizations whose business activity, as defined by Tencent company, StarLadder or the Tournament Organizer, is associated with a product or service from a prohibited category. The tournament organizer will provide a list of prohibited categories of goods and services (hereinafter referred to as the Black List), which may be amended from time to time. Players are prohibited from expressing approval or other commercial association with any goods and services of the categories listed in the Black List, and players must not include these goods or services in any PUBG broadcast or symbols on the form during the game.
7.2. Initial Black List
The Initial Black List, which may be periodically amended: drugs and devices for taking drugs; tobacco products; gambling and casinos; alcohol; pornography; any activity, provoking game hacks; cheating; speculation; bets on skins or game currency production; any goods or services; prohibited by the applicable law; any Tencent competitors; any games, not published by Tencent; any electronic sports leagues; tournaments or events other than OPPO R.T.K. Series. The tournament organizer, in its sole discretion, may reject or cancel the player’s right to display advertising or symbols of the sponsor on the tournament’s official broadcast channel or any accompanying channel, or any clothing, being worn during the game within the camera’s view of a player.
7.3. Unauthorized use of trademarks
No clause of this Tournament Rules or Registration Rules grants a Team Member, indirectly, on the basis of a refusal, on the basis of estoppel or otherwise, any rights or license to use the PUBG MOBILE name or any other trademark, trade name or logo, the owner or the licensor of which is the Tournament Organizer or the Tencent company. Any unauthorized use by a Team Member of a trademark, trade name or logo, the owner or licensor of which is the Tournament Organizer or Tencent company, is prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Tournsment Rules. A team member does not have to endorse or sponsor any product or service in a manner that may suggest to people that such product or service has been recommended or approved by the Tournament Organizer or Tencent company.
8. Code of Conduct
8.1. General rules of conduct
8.1.1. High standards for professionals. All Teams and Team Members must strictly comply with the highest standards of ethics and athletic behavior. Team members should behave professionally and in a sporting way while communicating with their rivals, OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials, Tournament Organizer, social network users, sponsors and fans.
8.1.2. Fair rivalry. All Teams and Team Members must compete in a Tournament game, always making the most of their skills and abilities.
8.1.3. Sanctions. Violation of these rules will result in sanctions at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer, see below for details. All decisions in the event of violations are made at the sole discretion of the Tournament Organizer and OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials.
8.2. Invalid behavior
The following is a non-exclusive list of examples of unacceptable behavior.
8.2.1. Secret collusion. Secret collusion of the Team members in any formis prohibited. The following are examples of collusion.
(A) Any contract between two or more players or members of other teams to play in non-conforming tournament standards in a Tournament game to provide the opposing team or any player with certain advantages or benefits.
(B) Preliminary agreement on the distribution of prize money and (or) remuneration in another form.
(C) Intentionally losing a tournament game for a reward or for any other reason, or trying to force another player to lose.
8.2.2. Cheating. Cheating is prohibited. Any change to the PUBG MOBILE game client by any player, team or team member is prohibited. Use of any unauthorized device or unauthorized program or any other way of cheating.
8.2.3. Abuse. The intentional use of any error in the game in order to gain an advantage is considered abuse and is prohibited. Abuse includes actions such as using any function of the game, which, by the definition of the Tournament Organizer, does not work as intended and does not meet the goal of the developers of PUBG MOBILE.
8.2.4. The substitution of the player. It is forbidden to play with the account or Tag of another player, as well as to incite or force another person to play with the account or Tag of another player.
8.2.5. Rude or aggressive speech. A team member during an Online Contest, media interview or any other way of communicating with other people in connection with OPPO R.T.K. Series or PUBG MOBILE should not use expressions of speech that are offensive, offensive, mocking, slang, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, obscene or rude. A team member should not publish, transmit and distribute any of the above prohibited expressions of speech. A team member should not use expressions of this kind in social networks, during any public events or during any broadcast of the game PUBG MOBILE. This rule applies to speech expressions in English and other languages. In addition, team members should not incite viewers to take any action that violates this rule.
8.2.6. Cruelty. Team members must resolve their argues, in a respectful way and not using cruelty, threats or intimidation (physical or
psychological). Cruelty during the Online contest against any opponent, fan or the Officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series is strictly prohibited.
8.2.7. Drugs and alcohol. The use, storage, distribution or sale of controlled substances, such as drugs and alcohol, or being under the influence of controlled substances is strictly prohibited when a Team member participates in a Tournament or other event, or is located in a territory owned or rented by the Tournament Organizer. Unauthorized use or storage of prescription drugs by a Team Member is prohibited. Prescription drugs are allowed to be used only by the person in whose name the prescription is written, and thus, in the combination and quantity, as indicated in the recipe. Prescription drugs are allowed to be taken only for the treatment of the disease for which they are assigned, and are not allowed to be used to increase activity in the Tournament game. Each Team Member is required to report a violation of this rule to the Tournament Organizer.
8.2.8. Betting. Bets on the outcome of a Tournament game (including all games or components of a Tournament game) can pose a serious threat to the reputation and public confidence in OPPO R.T.K. Series. Team Members are not allowed (I) to bet or attempt to bet on the outcome of any Tournament games (or any games and their components), (II) to contact major gambling participants or to provide information to others that may affect their bets
8.3. Unprofessional behavior
The following is a non-exclusive list of examples of a prohibited non-professional behavior.
8.3.1. The pursuit. Harassment is prohibited. Persecution is considered to be systematic, hostile and repeated for a certain period of time or a single case of categorically unacceptable behavior, when someone is trying to isolate, ignore and (or) humiliate.
8.3.2. Sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is prohibited. Unwanted flirting is considered a sexual harassment. The assessment depends on whether the behavior is undesirable or offensive. Threats and violence of a sexual nature, as well as promises of advantages in exchange for sexual services, are absolutely unacceptable.
8.3.3. Discrimination and slander. Team members should not degrade the honor and dignity of a country, a person or a group by using dismissive,biased or slanderous statements or actions based on race, color, ethnic, national or social origin. gender, language, religion, political opinion or ideology, financial status, sexual orientation or for any other reason.
8.3.4. Negative statements. Team members must not make, release, resolve or publish any statements that contradict or damage the legitimate interests of OPPO R.T.K. Series, Tournament Organizer, Tencent company or PUBG MOBILE.
8.3.5. Confidentiality. Without the consent of the Tournament Organizer, a Team Member may not disclose any confidential or proprietary information provided or made available by Tencent company or the Tournament Organizer to Team Members in connection with OPPO R.T.K. Series. Team members are obliged not to disclose confidential information or proprietary information provided by the Tournament Organizer. Confidential information and proprietary information of Tencent company and the Tournament Organizer are all data and materials disclosed (verbally, in writing or in other material and non-material form) or otherwise made available by Tencent company or the Tournament Organizer to a Team Member relating to or associated with PUBG MOBILE, OPPO R.T.K. Series, on belonging of which to the confidential information of Tencent company or Tournament Organizer belongs the Team Member is aware or should be aware of, given the facts and circumstances of disclosure. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, development plans and release dates for PUBG MOBILE updates, studio appearance and other similar information that are not disclosed to fans in order to keep them secret until disclosure during the Online Contest.
8.3.6. Illegal activities. Team members must strictly comply with all applicable laws. A team member is not allowed to engage in any activity that violates laws, regulations or administrative public safety regulations.
8.3.7. Amoral behavior. Team members are not allowed to engage in any activity that is, by definition of the Tournament Organizer, is unethical, immoral, or immoral.
8.3.8. Bribes. No Team Member shall offer any gifts, money or other remuneration to a player, coach, manager, OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials, the Tournament Organizer or another person associated with or hired by another Team to influence the result of the tournament.
8.3.9. Presents. No Team Member shall accept any gift, cash or other reward from another Team or another player (or any person acting on behalf of another team or another player) in connection with any Tournament.
8.3.10. Not compliant. No Team Member is allowed not to comply with instructions or decisions of the Tournament Organizer or OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials.
8.3.11. Falsification of match results. No Team Member has the right to propose, agree of make a deal to change the results of a match, or take any other actions in order to deliberately or dishonestly change or try to change the results of any Tournament (or any game or any component of it ). For each case of falsification of the match result, a maximum penalty will be imposed. If a Team Member receives a proposal to falsify the result of a Tournament game or participate in any other actions prohibited by these Tournament Rules, this Team Member must immediately notify the Tournament Organizer of such a proposal.
8.3.12. Filing documents. The tournament organizer has the right, at any time, to request documents confirming the nationality of one, several players or the entire team. Documents must be submitted to the Tournament Organizer within 24 hours. If deliberately false documents were provided to the Tournament Organizer, sanctions will be imposed on the Team.
Any behavior that:
(b) violates any instructions or rules published on PUBG MOBILE websites;
(c) interferes with the use of PUBG MOBILE by other players, is prohibited and is a violation of these Tournament Rules.
8.4 Disciplinary penalties and sanctions
8.4.1. Investigation of the Tournament Organizer. The Tournament Organizer has the right to monitor the implementation of these Tournament Rules and the Registration Rules, as well as to investigate the possible violations. By accepting these Tournament Rules, each Team Member agrees to cooperate with the Tournament Organizer in internal or external investigation, which the Tournament Organizer may conduct in connection with the alleged violation of these Tournament Rules, Registration Rules or current legislation. Team Members are obliged to truthfully state the facts in any investigation conducted by the Tournament Organizer, and they must not hinder the conduct of any investigation, not misinform the investigators, and not refuse to give evidence.
8.4.2. Penalties. In the event of a violation by any Team Member of these Tournament Rules or Registration Rules, the Tournament Organizer will apply the following penalties:
(a) verbal or written public warnings;
(b) deprivation of the prize(-s);
(c) exclusion from the game;
(d) expulsion from the tournament;
(e) suspension from participation;
(e) disqualification and prohibition(-s) of participation.
8.4.3. Regular violations. Regular violations are subject to tougher penalties, up to and including disqualification and a ban on participation in the OPPO R.T.K. Series.
8.4.4. Final decisions. Unless otherwise expressly stated, ignoring and violating these Tournament Rules are punishable, regardless of their intentional or unintentional nature. Attempts to ignore or violate the rules are also punishable. The Tournament Organizer determines which disciplinary action will be final and mandatory.
9. Use of names and images
9.1. Empowering Team Members
Each Member hereby grants Tencent company and the Tournament Organizer a permission to broadcast in real time, as well as to record his participation in the PUBG game. Each Team Member hereby provides Tencent company and the Tournament Organizer royalty-free, fully paid, international law and royalty-free, fully paid, international license (with the right of sublicensing) to copy, demonstrate, distribute, edit, post, store and otherwise use and display the full name and player's tag, photo, image, image , avatar, voice, video, game character, game statistics and biographical information, as well as the creation of derivative works based on the above elements, in any existing and future social networks in the process of:
(a) broadcast within the Tournament or any part of it;
(b) marketing and advertising campaigns of OPPO R.T.K. Series within any Tournament or its part;
(c) marketing and promotional activities of the PUBG MOBILE, as well as in connection with such actions.
9.2. Title to broadcast PUBG MOBILE
Each Team Member unconditionally accepts and agrees that all broadcasts and audio-video recordings of the Tournament or any part of it belong to Tencent company and the Tournament Organizer. A show in a broadcast or in an audio or video of a tournament does not provide a Team Member with any share in the ownership of such a broadcast or audio/video.
A team member may periodically provide Tencent company or the Tournament Organizer with suggestions, comments, or other feedback (hereinafter “Reviews”) regarding the operation or improvements of OPPO R.T.K. Series, Tournament or PUBG MOBILE. Each team member agrees that Reviews are provided and will be provided completely voluntarily. The recall, even if the sender considers it confidential, will not, in the absence of a separate written agreement, impose any confidentiality obligations on Tencent company or the Tournament Organizer. Moreover, unless otherwise specified in an additional written agreement signed by a representative of the Tournament Organizer or Tencent company, the Tournament Organizer or Tencent company has the right to use, disclose, reproduce, license or otherwise distribute and apply the Review at its sole discretion without any obligation or restrictions on intellectual property rights or any other rights.
10.1. Refusal to pay damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither Tencent company nor the Tournament Organizer will be liable for any loss of profits or any indirect, incidental, actual, compulsory or punitive damages arising from or due to these Tournament Rules, Registration Rules, OPPO R.T.K. Series, by any Tournament, PUBG MOBILE, and also by the delay or impossibility of using the PUBG MOBILE functions, even if Tencent Party, Tournament Organizer is guilty, and even if Tencent Party, Tournament Organizer was notified of the possibility of such losses.
11. Dispute Resolution
All decisions relating to the admission of players to participate, restrictions on sponsors, schedules and events of OPPO R.T.K. Series, as well as disciplinary action in connection with unacceptable behavior, is at the sole discretion of the Tournament Organizer or instead of the Tournament Organizer - of OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials. Decisions of the Tournament Organizer and the Officials of OPPO R.T.K. Series are final and binding, and cannot serve as a basis for any claims for pecuniary damages or any other remedies.
12. General conditions
12.1. The right of the tournament organizer to interpret the rules
Any aspects related to OPPO R.T.K. Series or PUBG MOBILE, which are not included in these Tournament Rules and Registration Rules, shall be interpreted by the Tournament Organizer and periodically presented to the Teams in the form of updating or interpreting these Tournament Rules or the Registration Rules.

In cases where this Tournament Rules or Registration Rules grant, guarantee or retain the right of Tencent company, the Tournament Organizer will or may not take any action, grant or cancel consent, grant or cancel permission, or make any other definition, if the rules clause does not specifically state otherwise; Tencent company and the Tournament Organizer have the right, at their own discretion, not to perform the above actions, based on their own business judgment adopted taking into account the assessment of the legitimate interests of the Tencent company and Tournament Organizer, as well as short-term and long-term interests of OPPO R.T.K. Series, PUBG MOBILE and the influence on the business and other activities of Tencent company and the Tournament Organizer. A team or team member is not entitled to file a claim or sue that a Tencent employee and the Tournament Organizer or any OPPO R.T.K. Series Official unreasonably canceled or suspended consent, permission, determination or other requested action in accordance with these Tournament Rules or Registration Rules.
These Registration Rules are drawn up in Russian. Based on the fact that OPPO R.T.K. Series is an international tournament, the Tournament Organizer and Tencent company will organize the translation of these Registration Rules into other languages used in the Region. In case of differences in the interpretation of the Russian version and the translation, the Russian version prevails.In case of differences in the interpretation of this Tournament Rules and Registration Rules, the Tournament Rules prevail.
“OPPO R.T.K. Series Officials” - are officials, judges and administrators appointed by the Tournament Organizer for the Tournament.
"Competition Rules" are the rules of the PUBG MOBILE OPPO R.T.K. Series, including all updates, amendments and additions to them.
“Reviews” are suggestions, comments or other feedback.
“Player's Tag” is a game tag or pseudonym of a player.
“Media Covered Events” include media interviews, press conferences, live broadcasts, sponsorship events, photo and video sessions, charity events, webcasts, podcasts, chat rooms and other events covered by the media, organized by Tencent company, StarLadder or the Tournament Organizer in connection with the marketing and promotional activities of OPPO R.T.K. Series and/or PUBG MOBILE.
“Black List” is a list of prohibited categories of goods and services.
"PUBG MOBILE" is a mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile.
“Registration Rules” are the procedures and rules for registering for the esports tournament PUBG MOBILE OPPO R.T.K. Series, including all updates, amendments and additions to these rules.
“Key Player” is one of four players in the starting lineup of the Team.
“Standby Player” is a substitute player in the Team.
“Team” is a group of four people participating in the OPPO R.T.K. Series.
“Team Captain” is a Team player assigned as a captain after completing the registration procedure.
“Team Members” are all players, managers, coaches and other representatives of the Team.
“Tournament” is a tournament, match, or contest within OPPO R.T.K. Series.
